* Symposium:

  • Please note that for symposium submissions the symposium chair/convener is responsible for submitting an overall abstract as well as the individual abstracts on behalf of all presenters
  • Please note that symposium submissions should include no more than 4 presenters (individual abstracts), and no less than three. Four presenters is preferable.

** Task:

  • During the Task Showcase session, presenters display different computer tasks designed to assess and/or modify cognitive biases in different areas (e.g., in the context of attention, interpretation, memory, imagery, approach-avoidance, etc).
  • During the Task Showcase session attendees can get a step-by-step walkthrough of how each task works, including important details such as the timing, interface, stimuli, instructions etc.
  • The session is intended to resemble a “marketplace” for tasks, such that attendees can ‘walk the room’ and see as many tasks as they wish.
  • Presenters will need to provide the necessary technology to demonstrate the task – this usually entails bringing a laptop computer for task presentation
